Pete Briley is one of the most exciting underground acoustic artists of the moment. Over the past three years he has been attracting a lot of attention, being named one of the 15 best acts in Leeds in 2008, was awarded the title 'Bright Young Thing' by the Leeds Guide and City Council and won Playmusic magazine's 'Best Unsigned Solo Act 2009' award.
So far he has played alongside key new music figures including Frank Turner, Joe Gomm, Micky P Kerr and Alex Cornish. He has also featured on BBC 6 music, BBC Leeds, BBC York and KMFM to name but a few and had residencies in both Leeds and York before moving back to his native South East.
Pete has recieved critical acclaim for both his live performances and records. He has toured the UK three times, featured as a resident musician at the Harrogate International Festival, and performed in front of thousands at the Sport Relief event
